I finally figured out that three places carry all three types of dress lines that i like
Lillette's Adrienne's Bridal Suite in Centereach
does anyone have suggestions on what places are worth checking out next weekend? Gimme the good bad and the ugly please so I dont waste a trip from upstate! THANKS

I liked Lillette's but I only went there to look at BM dresses and ended up not going with them b/c their alterations were a little high. I went with my mom to Adrienne's two weekends ago and they have a lot of stuff, but I know nothing abou tthem.
I would do a search under these boards and see what comes up...the best place to start would be the bridal review board. There are people that say they hate Adriennes but I guess it depends on what you feel is most comfortabel for you..Good luck!

Out of those three I have only been to Adrienne's... they were very nice to me there and I got all the attention I wanted. However, compared to Paradise Bridal, where I went the week before, I dont think their selection was as big...

well ive searched and its all mixed- good and bad....i guess theres not many perfect places so i think im gonna scout them out myself this weekend and then decide where to take my girls

the Bridal Suite has been nothing but great to me, my BM's and my mom.
Not a huge selection, but it's decent. I think I like the smaller places better personally

i got mine and my girls dresses there and my friend had gotten her dress and her girls dresses there as well. i wasn't crazy about the seamstress job but everyone else was great!

OK, I have checked out two of the three stores you mentioned. Now, I wound up finding a dress that i liked at Helen's in commack but I heard about this website called WWW.gownfind.com and I e-mailed them to find out if they could get my dress. The woman who runs it E-mailed me back in less than 10 minutes with a quote of almost $300 dollars cheaper (two other gowns that I liked were $400 cheaper). A friend of mine, who is also getting married, and I went to see her. Her shop is located in East Northport. It is out of her house (I know, sounds scary) but she has quite a few dresses to choose from. The best part is, she can order almost any dress. The day my friend and I went, it was croweded. People were picking up the dresses they ordered and were extremely satisfied. I am certain that I will be too.

I LOVE Lillette's. I worked with Geri there and she was so great! I am going on SUnday to order BM gowns. I ordered my gown a few months ago.

i second Lillette's, i am working with Christina, she is great!! i got my dress, veil, tiara, undergarments there, jr bm and 9 bm dresses there!!

SIL and bridesmaids had a heck of a time w/ Adrienne's. We don't recommend them because of what they put us through.

And I heard wonderful things about Lillettes but am not personally using them.

try Bridal center in Commack. they are much cheaper. lillets if overpriced.

I thought they staff at Lillette's was very nice, but in the end their price was higher on my dress than other stores so I didn't go with them.
