Have been busy, but wanted to tell you all...

I have a NEW part time job! I work Full time M-F and have been working the last year on Saturdays at a dr's office as a receptionist (easy work).

Well I interviewed for a part time job at Macy's and they offered me the job last Monday....the best part...is it's in the Registry Department!!!


My mom made me promise not to peek at my registry everyday and see who bought what! I promised!


I started training (basically paperwork) this week, have orientation next week then get my schedule!! It's 2-3 days a week, nights/weekends!! The extra money will be SO helpful!! Wish I did this a year ago!!!!

So you ladies who have yet to start a registry and happen to come to Macy's, OR you ladies who will attend the Bridal Events at Macy's, OR you go to the registry for anything else...come find me!!! My name is Jill!

What are Bridal Events at Macys? When and where do they hold them? I was thinking about registering at Macys, that is why I ask.

Actually, there was one there tonight (I didn't work it thou). It's great, I went to one, actually met up with a fellow LIW Bride (gina 674) there. Usually they have representatives from vendors, such as Pfaltzgraph or Vera Wang. There are prizes too, I won a free limo ride from Royalty! Anyhow, there are a bunch of wedding vendors there that have tables set up. It's fun! I am no sure how often they are, I can let you know after I get started in the department!

That's my favorite Macy's! The girls in the registry department there are SO helpful!!!

I was totally thinking of getting a P/T job there when I first registered, but I live in Islip now, so that commute would be insane! Good for you! Good luck!
