Have hit a major plateau

Have hit a major plateau

For the last few weeks I have gained and lost the same 2 pounds. I'm going to the gym 4-5 times a week and for the most part eating well. Very frustrating.

Your body naturally tries to maintain a specific body weight... It doesnt know you are trying to fit into a wedding dress - what you should do is try a whole different exercize - like, when I started indoor rock climbing, my body was like - whoa... and I knocked off those stubbprn pounds - do something completely different and your body will be forced to work a bit more - when you do the same exercises, your body gets used to them so its not really work anymore - I should know - I've been stuck in a body rut for a while, unfortunately I'm limited with funds so can;t afford anything new, but when it gets warmer out I am going to add hiking in the morning...

I agree with this. I added one more day and 10 minutes more of cardio. I also added ice skating. In the spring and summer I bike. Is it possible that you are the weight you're supposed to be?

What is your workout schedule?

What is your diet?

What are your goals?

Yeah - but were you healthy at that weight, or starving to maintain a Lindsay Lohan figure?

Probably a little of both. Healthy or 'average' weight is 20 pounds lighter than I am now.

Anyway I wanted to report that with the help of a Elliptical session (or 3) I finally lost that one pound I couldn't lose for weeks. Watch it come back this weekend when I go out for Italian for my FMIL's bday.
