have to put my cats up for adoption

We just moved into our house and my husband does not want me to take our cats with us. There are a number of reasons, his whole family is allergic to them and he is afraid when we have a kid they will be too, he doesnt want them to scratch the wood floors, furniture, etc. plus he hates them.

I have called every no kill shelter i can think of and they are all full. Please if you know anyone or anywhere that can take them and give them a loving home, let me know

They are both female, one is ~6yrs old. Smokey color with a white diamond under neck. The other is ~3.5yrs old. And I beileve she is what they call a rag doll cat. She almost looks like a tabby. They do not have to go to the same home.

Please, whatever you do, do not give them to a kill shelter. Most older cats get put down at those types of shelters b/c of their age. Have you tried North Shore or Little Shelter? I wish my mom would take them b/c she just put my kitty down but I don't think she wants anymore animals.
