Just spoke to the RH re: my cake and being that they are supplyng the cake, it's very cut and dry! They will only do one filling! Fruit, mousse, or cheesecake icing. And they will ONLY do the icing if we do red velvet, and FH hates red velvet
I hate mousse, and who just wants fruit??? I was hoping to do the creamcheese icing filling with raspberry..mmmmm But nope! Just one filling! This totally stinks I offered to pay some extra money, and they just told me the baker simply won't do it.
Anyone ever use leonettis bakery? How are their prices? Quality?

when I got married at WM years ago, I only wanted a certain cake. they said no...I said yes...they said no.
I said look, this is what i want. It';s not negotiable. find it for me. They did.
Call them and say look, I don't want this cake..I want such and such. make this happen.
Bet they do.

I love Leonettis.. I plan on using them for our wedding, since our RH doesn't supply the cake. We got our cake from them for our eparty and we got red velvet with cream cheese icing. The entire cake was gone and people are still talking about how it was the best red velvet they ever had!

another option you have is to get a cake on your own ... the RH prob won't give you any money back for the cake you're not getting, but they might give you some 'free' uprades.

I asked, if we didn't use their cake could they replace it with something free and the won't. I am so upset!!! I don't even know what wedding cakes run.....

Keep in mind that the price of the cake is worked into the price that you are paying, it's not like it's free!!! I think you should really keep pushing. You are the one paying for it, you should have more of a say. I would just keep on their case. Tell them you are allergic. But don't let this slide, I find this unacceptable!

One of the reason's I decided that I wasn't going to use the reception hall cake included or not. That's BS they cant give you something free, throw in a chocolate fountain or a VH. Let your inner beeotch out. There is really absolutely no reason why they can't find some way to accommodate you.

she is right... you are paying for it and should not settle under any circumstance.
