made fun or made fun of other people while you were growing up or as an adult?

If you made fun of other people, do you think about there feelings?

I usually only start making fun of people that have spoken in a negative light about me first! Childish?..maybe but it makes me feel better.

i HATE making fun / being made fun of...if can totally change someone's life.....so, yes I have been made fun of and like the others....I will only retaliate if highly provoked, never start. Hate it with a passion.

i have been teased when i was a kid but like everyone says if i am egged on I will make fun of them back. otherwise i wouldn't do that.

I was a mean little girl.. I picked on so many kids and didn't think about their feeling at all. Now I don't pick on people any more, just family members We all pick on eachother... it is in a jokig way though.

Its stays with you for life!! I always tell this to the students in my class...who are soooo mean to each other it kills me! I had to have the Guidance Counselor come in and talk about how to be nice to one another!

I have told the kids many times that I still remember being made fun of as a kid and I remember exactly what the other kid(s) said and its hurtful

i was made fun of as a little kid.

I went out of my way to always be nice to kids that were teased in High School and make friends with the new kid.

I really think it can be very detramental to a childs well being. It's all part of growing up, but if it is severe teasing, major self esteem problems can develop.

people made fun of me cuz i was short...
i never really made fun of anyone to their face.
one kid i was mean to, just chiming in with the other kids on the bus... but then i was nice to him. im not like that.
there also was this other kid everyone made fun of.. this was in HS. i would just call him a loser, just get away from me (honestly, he really was obnoxious).. but then by junior year we were friends. he was nice.

the year after we graduated he got killed in a car accident on christmas eve. i hope it made all the kids feel like $hit.

I was made fun of when I was younger, but I was never one to make fun of in return. I tease people that are close to me in a joking manner, but they know that is my sense of humor and I have no intentions of actually hurting them.

I remember being teased by one boy in particular back in grade school. But I never made fun of others. And I HATED to see other kids being made fun of... STILL bothers me SO MUCH.

I agree. I just see people in the street or even on the train making fun of people. These are adults that are making fun of people

I have been made fun of like I think every child has been and teenager and adult somewhere at sometime. I can honestly say I have done the same in every aspect as well like most others. I am definetly not proud of it and definetly have remorse for anyone that I ever hurt because I should've known better having it done to me. I also have children now and see how hurtful it has been to them. My one son has a speech impediment and it's horrible what some kids say and do to him. My daughter is going through an awkward teenage transition and has come home crying from cruelness.

ive been made fun of and it still haunts me. But lately my SIL is starting to say the same things and I have kinda come to accept it and start making fun of myself in the same way and it seems to stop the other people. Plus, by doing it with my SIL to me we have bonded weird I know but if it works Ill deal with it.

I was made of fun of back in 5th grade. Just a group that got their rocks off by picking on me. For what reason, I dont know. Im Spanish so that was a reason to laugh.
I dont choose to make fun of people or did as I grew up. Just not me to do that. I know women can get caddy and go out and make fun of the people to make themselves feel better cause they are insecure.

As I got older, I learned from their immature ways. Im secure enough to not do that to anyone. Its cruel and yes, cant hurt you down the road.

I was made fun of. I was really, really shy and had a bowl haircut until I was 10. And I always had embarrassing things happen to me.

some examples... i kill ppl bad about their driving or lack of. Outfits... what were ya thinking when you put that on?

did i mention, i only tell myself this and not the other person...?

I was never the target of teasing, but I did deal with b!itchyness from 'friends' but I think every girl did. I was very careful not to pick on people and did my best to be friends with everyone.
Now I don't pick on people per say, but if you're on my bad side, I will make your life as uncomfortable as I can. DH jokes that I'm evil, but it's not that. I just don't like mean people and I'm willing to stoop to their level. lol!
