have you been able to keep your house clean while weddin planning?
it is soooooooo hard! the house itself is clean but there is clutter everywhere and our house is pretty large. i can't take it anymore. i'm going to hide in the laundry room b/c that's always clean. i hope i'm not the only bride w/ wedding fu-fu-la EVERYWHERE!

ok my house is a disaster area - no joke! the only time my house has been clean is when my FMIL stayed with us from Oct-Jan - my house was spotlessssssss! My Shower was last Saturday and my house is just a big old mess

HAHA This is great!! I've been super busy that everything is just all over, FH probably wants to murder me!!
The house isn't 'DIRTY' but there are papers and magazine's and registry stuff, favors, invitation samples...you name it and it's ALL OVER!

so funny you mentioned that becuase I just moved recently and before we moved the house was a big mess ( i am normally never like that) i am a nit pick- well we finally moved in to our condo and I have to say things are starting to take shape we had boxes for misc. wedding items all over the spare room, yesterday we finally consolidated it into one box! i promised him this place wont be messy like the other one was

There are boxes everywhere & my dining room table is covered!!! Also, FH is slowing moving his stuff in (YAY!! ) so those boxes/ bins are now slowly coming in....

it's pretty crazy around here too. we live in the upstairs of FH's parents' house so we don't have a lot of space. a section of our bedroom has become wedding central, and it's a disaster area!! and whenever we get any boxes in the mail w more wedding stuff it kinda lingers around in the living room for a while until i can figure out some place to put it. so yeah it's been a mess around here too! but luckily we did some cleaning this weekend so it's much better today! thank goodness, i HATE a messy house!! it makes me crazy!

YES...especially FH's place. Le tme explain...Fh and I 'dual live'...we spend equal amounts of time in both his house and my apt. So I have to keep my apt. fairly cleaning because I'm selling. However, his place had gotten the brunt of the messiness since both of us are just absoletely done by the time the weekend comes.

When I was planning it was HARD! I had so much wedding stuff everywhere!!! I couldnt wait to get rid of it all!

I tried to neatly stack boxes EVERYWHERE!! Yeah, right who am I kidding? And now I am freakin out, where am I going to put all my shower gifts?

OMG, the house was a MESSSSSSSS before the wedding!!! Besides all the wedding stuff, I also started moving my stuff out from my mom's place to our new apartment before the wedding and there was just stuff EVERYWHERE.
Put it this way, my BM's came over a couple of days before the wedding (and the day before) to pick up something and they were like, UMMMMM You're going to be getting ready here? You're going to have people over? And pictures taken here? Really???
LOL, it was THAT much of a mess! I went to bed at 4am (yes 4 AM) the night before my wedding because we were still cleaning up/organizing. DON'T WAIT TIL THE WEEK OF THE WEDDING TO FINISH CLEANING!!!!! That's my piece of advice!
It all worked out in the end, but it was SUPER stressful!

I really can't seem to keep my place neat ever. Honestly, I clean up and then several days later it looks like I never did. If we just put things away when we were done with them, well, that'd be a different story :)

Being that we both work 2 jobs and have an apartment that isnt that big. YES!!! It is a hard task lately. We have each just been picking something and working on it.

I still live at home so everything is in my room! I cannot wait to close on our house so I have more room to spread out!

I do plan to keep it neat before we get married. I told FH we had to make sure it was all tidy whie we were off the 3 days before the wedding.
Luckily the wedding stuff will be at the RH the week before so thats a lot of clutter gone.

ugh....i can't even think about my house.....it's such a disaster that if I dwell on it I get upset. We're literally right now stepping over OOT bags, BP gift bags, the candy bar, the parent gifts, our luggage....it's awful.

All I have to say is thank GOD for basements!! That is where most of our unpacked engagement and shower gifts are resting for now. We don't have a lot of kitchen cabinet space, and no pantry or anything so a lot of the bigger things need to stay downstairs. If we didn't have a basement, I don't know what we would do!!

So weird that you mentioned this! i have my parents cleaning lady coming to my house tonight!!!! FH is so anal about the house being clean and i just cant keep up my end with the wedding planning and all. We were doing ok for a while but now its just overwhelming.

oh my gosh! no way!! i haven`t kept up with anything!!! Don`tget me wrong the apartment itself is clean but everywhere you look you`ll see wedding stuff!! magizines on the end tables....bathroom baskets hiding out in the coat closet....seashells for who knows what yet all over!! etc etc! it`s starting to make me crazyyyyy i want it outta here!

omg- i feel soooo much better. ive felt like crap for a few months about the condition of the house. fh is a neat freak. i hope that we can get a cleaning lady for the week of the wedding.
