Have you come up with your song list yet?

Fh and I are starting to work on ours...what songs have you come up with?

i have a ton but highly doubt if anyone wants to play the same songs as us IoI it is more of a do not play list then anything.

brides entrance: If I Had the World to Give by the Grateful Dead (classical version)
Candle Lighting: still deciding, possibly Better Together by Jack Johnson
Recessional: Beautiful Day
BP Entrance: little less conversation
Our entrance: another one bites the dust
first dance: follow you follow me by Genesis
cake cutting: Your Love Gets Sweeter Everyday by Finlay Quaye
dance w/ dad: Father and Daughter - Paul Simon
last dance: don't stop believing.

It also happens to be my Grandparents 60th anniversary, so we are playing a Gloria Estefan song for them : Con Los Anos Que Mi Quedan

we haven't decided on ceremony music yet, but for the reception, so far we have:

Bride & Groom entrance - ladies & gentlemen by Saliva

First dance - Somebody by Depeche Mode

Cake cutting - poor some sugar on me by def leppard

Bo-k toss (if we decided to do it) - Girls Girls Girls by motley crue.

We also have a ton of songs we're requesting to be played during the reception.

I know what songs for the DJ to play but I have no idea for the cake cutting and all that mushy stuff

This is all going to be soooo hard for us. We have a band and have picked the songs we want to hear from them (off their list) and I have others that I want to see if they know them .. then they'll learn 3 or 4 for us, so we have to decide which ones are most important to us...

And the entrance song, cake cutting, ceremony music ... it's overwhelming!!! I have NO idea.

the only thing i know for certain is that i want me or my girls to walk down the aisle to 'all i ask of you' from phantom of the opera... and our first dance will probably be 'thank you for loving me ' by bon jovi. There's gonna be a lot of bon jovi throughout the reception cause they are my favorite and bruce springsteen too.. but we haven't decided on the other songs yet. I have too many ideas.. i just can't decide!!

Our first Dance: Chances Are: Bob Seger & Martina Mcbride
Dance with our parents: The Prayer: Andrea Bocelli & Celine Dion
Removal of Garter & Toss: Heavens On Fire: Kiss
Cake cutting: Yellow: Coldplay

I'm still decidng on my boquet toss song.
Any suggestions?

*Ceremony - String quartet consisting of my childhood friends...and for FREE!!!!
(my parents raised me on classical music...i played the piano my whole life and only classical music was allowed in common areas of the house...so I really wanted to incorporate that into the wedding):

Moms: Winter - Vivaldi
Girls: Salut D'Amour - Elgar
Me: Meditation from Thais- Massanet
Recessional: Rondeau from Abdalezer - Purcell

*Reception

Parents: Remember That Name - Fort Minor
Bridal Party: Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice (puahahahaha....we just wanted to humiliate them a little tee hee)
Us: Gold Digger - Kanye (running joke between us...since I actually make more $$$ than him!)
Cake Cutting: My friend is writing us a song!
