driven somewhere and not remember doing it?? I just drove home from FSIL house in Roverhead and yes i was tired and was speed blinking to keep my eyes alert...but all of a sudden Im driving down my block...I dont even remember getting on the LIE!!

I do that every day on my way home from work!!!

I have done that. I drive 1 hour to work and 1 hour back. Sometimes I get to work and don't remember getting on the parkway

It's amazing how we can function on auto pilot sometimes. I do it more often than I'd like to admit.

So freaky!!! I think that happens to me everytime I drive back down here from Upstate... eek!

i mean, god forbid anyone ran into the street or something...would we realize??

Yes, I was just going to say, it is a form of hypnosis. You have to be really careful when you are driving at a high speed on a long trip. When you get off at an exit you might not realize how fast you are going. It happened to me in college, thought I was going much slower in Liberty, NY. Well, I hit a curb, broke my axel, was stranded and Dad had to leave work and meet me up there and take me the rest of the way to Ithaca. Next week he had to drive up to Ithaca, pick me up, drive down to Liberty for me to get my car... UGH! The man drove over 1000 miles that week!
