Have you ever......

I think it is the lie that all brides tell (myself included):
'It is a great BM dress, you can wear it again.'

But seriously ladies, how many of you have worn a BM dress after the wedding?

I'm the first of my friends to get married so I haven't been a BM, but my MOH is already planning on wearing her MOH dress to at least 2 weddings next summer. I think wearing it again depends on the style, color, etc. My dresses were pink so my other BMs may not wear them again, but they could always dye it black.

I was a MOH 4x and out of the 4x, I only wore once again, after I had it shortened from a gown to tea length.

I plan on wearing the MOH gown I wore for my sister's wedding to another wedding next year. Hopefully I can fit back into it! LOL

Sort of. It was separates and I wore the top out to a club. It was a cute top.

Even if I had had occasion to wear the dresses again, I couldn't because I was 30 pounds heavier when I wore them and now none of them fit anymore. But I'd probably wear the lilac one again if it fit.

I had a bridesmaid who wears the dress from our wedding to every formal occasion she goes to, including another LIW bride's wedding.

Nope..I have 4 BM dresses from the past two years and I am donating them all. They have some thing at Nassau Community college every year and the dresses go to girls that can not afford to buy a new dress.

I personally have not- BUT- the dress my BMs wore- they totally can.. And my proof... when the designer had a sample sale- I bought not 1, but two dresses of my own-- to wear to whatever event..

I have two hanging in my closet. One fits, the other doesn't. The one that fits I just wore to a Christmas party. It was a black tea length dress with a bolero jacket. Perfect for a cocktail party.

I wore a BM dress.. it was very simple and solid, to a wedding a few years back.. as long as its not flashy or extremely satin.. I think it can be done..
