Have you ever

regretted being really mean to someone (and im talking real life instance not on this web site) whom you later found out was a nice person? and you were in the wrong?

I've snapped at people in a fight but then we always made up after.

I actually have the opposite problem. I am usually too nice - and I give everyone a chance until they give me a reason not to like them. So unusually I regret later that I was nice to them

Angeleyes-
When I was in high school, and even in college, I was quite a BIATCH! I was mean to many a people until they proved me wrong. My friends were all the same way, as well. As soon as I met FH, I realized that I did not like who was at all. He and I actually went to HS together, but I never knew it because I was such a snob. When he introduced me to his friends, who were people I was not so nice to in HS, I realized what wonderful people they were! It gave me a whole new outlook on myself and the way I tended to treat people. Ever since, I have found it so much easier to make friends, and quality ones at that. So, to answer your question, yes I have been mean to many people whom I later found out were wonderful!
