Have you ever been told that your 'performance' was not up to par?

Original post by nrvbrd

Or have YOU told this to someone?

I was watching Soulfood on Showtime last night and one of the main characters slept with one of her clients.

They exchanged words and he told her that the intimacy they shared was not all that great.

The look on her face

Has this happened to you?

I can honestly say no (knocking on wood), nor have I had to tell anyone this either.

I got 'the tap' once.
But he was really really drunk!

<~~~~~~trying to save her ego

I am just a wee bit afraid to ask.. but what's the tap? I honestly never heard of it.

Now when it has come down to performance, I've never heard anything bad from a woman.. but I have been hard on myself on occasion. (Excuse the pun. LOL) I know when I've sucked.. (again, excuse the pun.) and I know when I've been a rock star! LMAO

So in order to make this situation obsolete, I follow a given rule -- get her to the promised land either first.. and/or often.. and your performance will never be judged!

BTW.. I think judging a performance is pretty crass.. but I know male friends who have said how good a female was in bed, which I never thought was a cool thing to do.

All this is JMO.

How right you are!!

'The tap', as in, a tap on the shoulder, as in, 'nice try but it aint gonna happen, you can come back up now.'

Is that too graphic ?

I have never been told that.

I am however very very guilty of telling a guy he was worthless in bed. uhmm more than once and not the same guy.. ... *ahem*.. in public

I was a very very very mean woman in college. I feel a little bad now for what happened then, but at the time it seemed to make perfect sense to tell the truth.

The worse was a guy kept saying I was his girlfriend but the poor guy NEVER got my pants off. I mean I got my shirt off but by then .. he was 'off' too. I was SOO Annoyed. I sorta 'outted' him in public after he tried to say I 'used' him. I did it in one of our college cafeterias and with his new 'girl' standing next to him. She died laughing at him and he went beet red. Even the guys started to laugh. He called me a whore. Which I had another nasty reply about 'performance'.

It was REALLY public. From then on, we referred to him as 'Quick Shooting Shawn'

(Note: Our university was 2 and a half women for every man. So having a guy was hard to do in college and most of the girls were just in it for the compeition. Oddly enough most women didnt care about the GIRL who took her bf but more or less hated the guy who got tempted away.)

Mostly if the sex was bad with a guy.. I usually didnt stay with them too long.. ok.. that sounds REALLY shallow, but it's honest. If you aint keeping me satisified I will wander off so why cheat when I can invest more time in actively looking?

Reminds me of that David Chappelle Show and the skit about 'Wrap it up'

I am embarraassed to admit that I have expressed this sort of displeasure....

I used to be a really mean biotch, and didn't care what I was saying. I didn't even feel that bad right afterward, it took me a while to realize that it was not a nice thing to say.

(even though it was true )

I can’t believe I am talking about this, but…

Once I got caught looking at my watch during a certain act, which was making me fall asleep! This person was VERY insulted…actually he didn’t call me again after that!

That's really bad. I got caught trying to very discreetly change the channel.....

ME TOO that's what I 'removed'
I had a Marvin the Martian watch that played the Loony Tunes song when you pressed a button. I was so bored I reached around and kept hitting the button. I was bored. 'Are you done yet?'

No, but there has been a few guys where I wish I had. One guy wanted to 'hook up' again sometime after that and I was like 'thanks, but that's okay'. To me, it wasn't worth getting undressed for

Remember when channel 14 used to be just a blue screen with music and channel listings (before IO)? One night hubby had it on during *ahem* becuase it played soft rock or whatever (couldn't he find more appropriate mood music?). Anyhoo, I watched the turn of the clock and by minute # 2, he was all done. I jumped up and yelled 'HOLY TWO MINUTES!!' and he was like He couldn't believe that A.) I was timing him and that B.) I wasn't that into it. It was sooo funny!!!

Once I had an ex- say something along the lines of me not being exciting or whatever. But it was his feeble attempt at emotional abuse because he knew I was about to dump his fat a$$. Which is why I was not exciting. I had nothing to be excited about.

LMAO, You guys are too funny. My manager just asked me if I was OK.

I have never been told that nor have I told someone that their performance wasn't up to par. But I have watched the clock just waiting for it to be over.
