Im sure I cant be the only one who has..My hs boyfriend and I dated for close to 4 years, and thats the time he was discovering himself..he broke up with me one day by telling me ' Jenn im sorry, but I just dont think I like you anymore' I was crushed...but we are actually really good friends now

lol looks like no one else is brave enough to speak! i have no shame!
a BF in high school that i dated for 3 months--wound up breaking it off, and then a month later he came out of the closet. he told me that he really liked me and hoped i would be the one for him to 'make him straight' but in the end , he couldn't fight the feelings. i had a sense that he may be gay--but laughed it off. we lost touch, but stayed very close friends for a few years after HS.

Yes - a guy in h.s. that I dated for a few months - he was soooo angry with me when I broke up with him, and referred to me as merely the 'm word' to his friends for years. Several years later I found out that one of my friends' husbands knew him, and he refused to believe that we had once dated since he was now out of the closet.

I have a hunch I did. He is still claiming to like women but my gaydar is sooo going off!!! He referred to our dinner as 'FABulous' he commented on the attractive female waitress (no Straight guy does that!!!) He got regular manicures and waxings, he looked at my watch and knew what the brand was and he looked at my bracelet and commented on the brand. One time we went to dinner for NYE and he actually looked at the label in my dress. Had to be gay -- what straight guy does these things!!! My fh has only recently learned that the swizel on my jeans pockets means they are sevens!! LOL

I actually dated a few in my wild college years - when they were already out and confirmed gay!
they were 'curious' and i loved them, plus they were SO cute! So we dated - it never got past kissing and laughably funny make outs, but never beyond that point for 2 reasons - they were hos, and I wanted to be careful, and 2 - not sure if they really could have anyway, so we just figured we'd keep things fun - I have to say - it was great having someone you were 'dating' not only think you are beautiful and tell you all the time, but also notice anything new you wore or did with your hair AND go shopping with without hearing - arent you done yet?
plus - talk non stop with!!

I did. I think. My first boyfriend in middle school came out a few years back to a few close friends, but then apparently last year had a very serious girlfriend. So maybe?

i 'dated' a guy in middle school (if you call it dating) and a few years later i ran into him and his boyfriend. it made me laugh...he hated me so much that he went gay. (that's how i looked at it!!) it really made me laugh because he had moved to a really conservative area so to see him gay just made it all funnier.

I am of the opinion that my ex is gay. He's married now, so that's evidence to the contrary. Nevertheless, when we were dating, people would say, 'Wait, you mean he's not gay?'

I think 2 of my exes are, but one's married with 3 kids, so who knows? I guess a part of me just wishes he was gay so I feel better!

I think my ex is gay...but hinds it very well. He has had a girlfrind for about 3 years now. We are all still friends and my FH also thinks he may be. He'll come out of the closet eventually...he's still young.

my very first boyfriend (from preschool) we were 'boyfriend/girlfriend' for like 3 years! it was sooo cute! My mother saw him a few years ago at a restaurant.. they spoke for a while.. he told her he is gay!

Not dated but hooked up with in college---this majorly hot guy named Sven.... and I also later found out a friend that I had a big crush on for years and went to a college formal with was gay....and so was another friend of mine I went to a formal with (just friends though) !!

Definitely not the case for me. I think he's gay because of how he acted when I knew him. And I have zero vested interest in it.

I think my HS sweetheart was. He was a better dresser, dancer and cook than me. he broke w/me for no valid reason and to this day he is still single. Furthermore rumors in my neighborhood all lead to him being gay.
