Ah...countless times! Mostly it just blows over, a few times there has been an apology.

I'm happy to say, No I haven't. Me and my parents are super close. We've had disagreements, but no major blowouts

My sister, now that's another story, we used to get into it alot when we were little. She is by BF now though

My mom and I are so similar that it has at times caused huge blowouts. Most of the time a few days later we both end up apologizing.

i think the longest i have gone without speaking to my parents after a blowout is a week and a half. usually the one at fault winds up giving in and apologizing... we haven't had a blowout in ages though, hopefully won't have any in the future!

My mom and I generally get along pretty well--probably because she lives in Florida.

We had an email fight over the cost of the hotel that I blocked for the wedding (something I didn't have any control over). I basically explained that it was something I couldn't do anything about. She realized pretty quickly that she was being ridiculous (and that I was really mad), and apologized profusely.

I had the fight of all fights with my mom the day before my wedding. I mean full on screaming/cursing out of control fighting. We almost threw punches. It was BAD. She almost didn't come to the wedding. She did go but was frowning in all my pics. We talk now and everything is ok, mostly because I founf out I was PG and she stopped her crap.

Me and Mom argue every so often, either she does or I aplogizes first. I am the type of person that can not stay mad or have anyone mad at me! I can't sleep at night.

On the other hand, I haven't spoken to my Dad in 8 years!!!!!!!! Go figure!!!!!!

More times than I care to count. Mostly with my mom. I don't know who usually apologizes first. Used to be me but now I won't. I don't think I ever get apologizies we just kind of act like nothing happened.

Many many times..I still feel bad that I have cursed out my parents. 10+ years later.

Huge blowouts galore in my family. It's always about clearing the air. It's usually somethign that builds and builds until it explodes. This has not happened in years, but it used to happen every 5 or 6 months. I think it has to do with just how close I am to my mom and dad. We are extremely tight, and I think we have a lot of emotions mixed up in that. Now that I am older, though, I think we all handle things differently. It always ended with us have some sort of a gigantic family discussion. It was those moments that made me realize just how wonderful my family really is.

I called my mom a b***h when we were arguing in my Dad's hospital room about something a few months back. I was so ashamed of myself as she didn't deserve it depsite all of the grief we were going through at the time. And yes, she was hurt - rightfully so. I cried a lot and decided to be a little more patient and tolerant of her when she gets to me.

Oh yeah! I didn't speak to either parents for months because of things they said and did. Currently, I am not speaking to my mother because she has done some really horrible things that I just cannot forgive. I don't know if I can ever have a relationship with her and she isn't invited to the wedding.

My dad is the type who thinks he can say whatever he wants to because he is the father. I don't agree, so often I won't speak to him until I can calmly tell him that if he cannot speak to me with respect then I cannot talk to him. He has been better lately and will stop himself before he goes off on a tirade.

not with my parents but with my MIL. she caved in because she realized my husband will stand by my side whereas she thought her good boy son will be by her's for the rest of her life.

My dad and I periodically have a big fight- and it's usually pretty stupid. We don't speak for a little while and then we pretend that nothing ever happened. That's pretty much his way.

YOU DID GOOD! I once had to tell FH that I will be his #1 and not his mom. He realized I was right.
