I hit my first boyfriend once (after we broke up). We were standing in the lobby at my school in HS and I was singing in a concert and one of my friends from chorus came to tell me we had to go line up, after he walked by, my ex who I was talking to refered to him as the '6 letter F word' and I immediately slapped him right across the face, in front of 100's of people, teachers, etc....He wasn't a homophobe..he was immature and I think he thought he was being funny. I didn't find it funny.

I did hit my ex we were sitting in my car and i know it did not hurt him. but still he was telling me lies and more lies to cover up other lies i wanted to see if i could hit the truth out of him. but if we were standing it would have been more then a hit trust me.....

I have slapped a few faces Pulled some hair, one lady hit my car a few year ago when I first came to NY and tempers were flared. She had the nerve to hit Dh (FH t the time) so I taught her a little of what basic training taught me.

i smacked the crap out of a girl who gave my HS boyfriend a BJ. It was the only fight I was ever in, and I still remember it with pride - one of those total catfights at a party where everyone crowds around. We probably looked pathetic, but in my mind it was a hardcore fight, and i slapped her many times facedown into the ground and then pulled her hair and jumped on her (cheers from the crowd) Then I dumped him and became infamous. Ahhh...the glory days.

I almost did this summer...
The lifeguard at my co-op parked in my DH's parking spot and she gave an attitude to move the car. When she did move it she got out of her car and told me to go F myself. I ran after her and got right in her face. My DH had to pull me away from her. Needless to say she was fired the next day.

I've hit a few people but never first always in self defense. I had a friend that used to start fights. I got caught up in a few of them by association (usually saving her A$$)
She once got us in a fight with five girls. She fought one and I fought four. Amazing what you can do when your adrenaline starts pumping.

I also hit my sister and brother all the time. We still all fight till this day... if my sister is being stupid i'll push her and then she'll slap me, then I'll knock her down and kick her...

Another thing I did was punch a wall with anger instead of hit hubby. Before kids came along. I fractured my right hand and was pregnant at the time. So I guess that was my hormones acting up. GAve birth with my hand in a cast. Not a fun experience

Growing up, I was always getting into fights. ESP with boys, since I was a total tomboy.. I was given detention for 2 months in the 6th grade for all the 'rumbles' i had
So bad was my 6th grade record, my mom decided public school was over for me, and would not send me to the junior high (I was hanging out with a 'dangerous crowd' was her conclusion..) And it was off to Catholic school from thereon out Including a 4 year stint at an all-girls Catholic HS. (and you wonder why I'm strange?)
So I guess you really are 'my girls'

I used to get so mad at my ex-husband and nothing I said or did would work until finally I found myself hitting and scratching him a few times. I am not proud of it, it was abusive, but the mental and emotional abuse he was putting me through was far more damaging. I hated the person he was turning me into -- a real shrew -- because of his alcohol, drug and other abuses. I am so happy to be in a loving, respectful relationship, I can't imagine ever raising my hand to DH or he to me. What a difference!!
PS - I went to an all-girls Catholic HS too, but that's not what made me strange....at least, I don't think so....

I'm weird. I'm a toughie to people I don't know. Like I'll tell someone off in the subway, push someone on the train when they push me, make comments when someone does something rude (I know... my big mouth is going to get me into big trouble one day....)
But when it comes to a friend or family member who is taking advantage of me, I let them walk all over me.
