...that when they tell you 'the cap is $75 for alterations' it ALWAYS end up being $75 NO MATTER what you get done! I've been in 5 weddings in the past 2 years and EVERY place I had to pay the cap on it and 1 place I just had a hem and another I had it brough in, hemmed, and made into a halter top. It's INSANE!

actually that has never happened to me....even with my wedding dress, i guess i am one of the lucky ones.

I heard that. My friend mad so many alterations to the dress that her alterations cost more then her dress!!!!!!

LOL, so does mine.....I wasn't including that. My bustle is so ridiculous that the woman actually didn't even charge us for the whole thing because it was so much!

yeapp! u can have the smalled alteration done but still it ends up meeting the alteration cap...
