to bridal shows? And so have they been helpful? The RH where I'm getting married is having one this Tuesday, and I wasn't sure if they have been useful to people in the past.
I havn't gone to any, and we'd love to go to the LIW Parties, however we can't go b/c I work on Sat...
I have gone to a few and some were good while others didn't have many vendors. I would definitely go to check it out especially if it is at RH you are having your wedding at.
I went to the big one at Jericho Terrace in January.. and my hall Westbury Manor is having one for their booked parties next Wednesday..
im going to one at my hall (Westbury Manor) on wed. i went to one prior to that and i won $500 off the photographer i am considering. i find it helpful when u go to ones at ur hall bc they have the house people. And Wm only opens their shows to their brides so there is a greater chance to win. Some are good and others are not. I find the big ones like the ones they always promote on here like the expos and stuff are usually way too crowded and overpacked. You usually have to pay and there is no food/drinks or anything. The smaller usually have food and different hings and are bit nicer and less commercialized.

I went to one at my RH and I found my photographer there. I say if you still have vendors to book they can be extremely helpful!
I went to a bunch when my sister was getting married. But with my wedding I totally knew what I wanted so there wasn't a need to beat crowds and such. The prizes were always fun though.
I have not gone to any as of yet.
I havent gone to any yet, just cant seem to make any of the dates
I went to 2 offered by my hall which were very helpful because I got to meet with all the in-house vendors. i also went to one offered by a seperate company and it was a total waste of time. i say your best bet would be to attend those offered by your RH.

been to the one in jericho terrace in January- was pretty cool to see all the vendors and what they had to offer. If you havent booked alot of vendors or if youre vendors will be there and you want to see their work then def go!! they are fun!!
I went to a Vendor Showcase at my reception hall and whats great about it is that you have all the vendors in one place...i booked my photographer there and they also have florists and the cocktail hour food tasting...they served wine and champagne...they also had different cakes to try as well as a chocolate fountain...hmm it was great!!! its a great place to start looking for vendors and to see there work!!!
