of couples requesting that all liquor bottles be sealed on the day of the wedding so you can make sure it really is top shelf?? I heard that somewhere but I would feel uncomfortable saying that..I'd feel like I was insulting the hall or something....

There is nothing wrong with that. For starters, you are spending your money for food and liquor. I have seen a list of questions to ask a prospective caterer when you go check them out and that ? was on the list.. Also, you don't want the liquor used from the previous affair.

i agree with you both....that is one of those things I would like to ask (i am paying and i have worked for people that do switch liquors) However...like you...>I dont know if i would ever have the balls to ask that.
