I kid you not I have been looking for invites since 2004 ( b4 engagement).

i will start to design mine soon- since I want to have then out in Jan sometime for OOTs.

FH's Uncle is a printer and lent us some books to look thru bc we were going to have an E-Party... BUT I did see some designs for wedding invites.. I am just mroe nervous about wording than anything else

When is normal to get them?

Nina- since u are Sept.... I would say u would need to have them in your hands by May/ early June... assembled by and out the door in July.

I picked mine out I just have to gather the green stuff and start to ordering soonnnn very very soon that will get done!

We have ours picked out, but we are just waiting on ordering them since there is no point to have them this early and you never know what might hange this early on ( time related) so Im thinking maybe 5-6 months b4 the wedding.

The invites that I want I have only found online and I really don't want to order them online cause of horror stories that I've heard. I used to work at a place where we placed orders for invitations, so in a way I've been looking for my wedding invitations since before I was even engaged!

I don't know what to do about the online ones though. . .

That's a greaat question... we chose the ones we want and are prolly going to order them in November. I want to make sure that we have enought time to have them re-printed just in case there was a problem with them

We have an idea of what we wanted, but when i saw the actual invite in person, I hated it, so now i'm going with my original plan. I plan on ordering them in Janurary, they normally take 2-3 weeks to come in, so thats plenty of time. I think

i have no clue when i'm going to order mine...i'm tempted to order them now just so i have them and that it can be one less thing to worry about

I had my invites in my hand the first week of June, and will be mailing them on June 30, 2006
