Have you/would you wear open back shoes???

these are one of the shoes I like, but I am so afraid I will be fighting all night to keep them on??? the heel is only 1 1/4', and they are dyeable, so I can turn them ivory. what do you think???

good point jenn about no stocks....that leans me towards a no, my FH will be sooooooooooooo disappointed if I do not wear thigh-highs

I think that some shoe stores sell sticky like pads to put inside so your foot doesn't slip.

thoseare so cute Jen and would go with your dress. Is there a store that you can try them and on and walk around a bit to see how they would be?

I have not even started to look in stores yet. My dress comes in in a week or so, so I am started to get anxious to have the accessories too. I do want to buy a pair I try on first. I am picky about shoes, and especially a pair I will wear for like 13 hours.

I wouldn't wear open back shoes for my wedding, wouldn't want to run the risk of stepping out of them, especially on the dance floor.
And I wouldn't wear stockings with any open toed shoe, that is ALWAYS a big NO NO, IMO!

ok, I think they are out....too bad, I'd can't find any butterfly shoes, not even shoeclips.
Oh, well, no one really sees them anyway.

Yeah I wouldnt sweat it to much with the shoes. Everything will be just perfect

well, I just searched more....AND I did find shoe clips if I want...

If you were not wearing stockings I'd say sure because you'd have some 'grip' but personally, I wouldn't - but I'm afraid I'd fall out of them.
But hey are really nice! Do you think a good shoe repair person could find material the same color and put a strap around the ankle with a bit of white elastic at the end to hold your heel in place? Maybe the store you got them at does that? I've never asked or heard of anyone doing that but never hurts to ask around!
