I honestly havent peeked once at my registry. I have no interest in it. Which surprises me cause I always thought I would be a peeker.

im not having a shower so when i first got engaged lots of people sent us engagement gifts

i see nothing wrong with looking - its not a surprise, you picked everything out

Is it considered peeking when you are still building it??? That is what i was just doing. I was just looking at registries of friends to see what else we need and to get some ideas. But yes once it is done I will totally be a peeker!

I peaked at first by mistake, because I was still adding to it and changing things. Then it got a little out of control, and I checked like 10x a day. It was still a surprise to see who got us what, but I knew what things were coming!

Mike refused to be spoiled, so I let him open everything and hid the sheets that come with them and list the items (at BBandB they put them right on top!)

I just checked our registry again today and nothing new has been bought --- our engagement party was in May so no surprise there. My mom and aunt keep nagging me to add more things to it, but I really dont know what else we should put on there. I guess we'll probably have a shower at some point?

yeah but when you are having a shower you can tell when the invites went out and when the shower is coming up by seeing how much stuff is coming off of it

i mean, i've heard that you can tell by peeking

OMG- YES- FH and I both did before our e-party. People arent buying off it now so we stopped looking.

I dont care about the surprise b/c we know we are getting the items. the surprise is WHO got them for us.

I only registered for china and a few other things last week and i cant stop looking already! i haven't registered for the big, important stuff and my shower isn't for another year! LOL...one thing is already gone though. I just can't help myself! I always looked at my friends in the past, so why wouldn't i peek at mine!

i check everyday before my eparty. and im sure i will when it comes closer to the 2 month countdown (for my shower)

I plan on NOT looking, but a friend will check it for me to tell me the 2 things I want to know afterwards..

1) What was bought 1st
2) what was bought LAST

.. fun to see who was most excitedand bought first and who the SLACKER is.. who buys on the way to the shower!

I look everyday. I go home & tell FH what was bought. I can't help myself. FH told on me last night to my mother that I always peek.
