haven't been around

I haven't been around for a while. My mom was really sick, we thought at one point she might not make it. Well I am happy to say that she is on the road to recovery. She is currently in rehab and doing really well. They expect her to be able to come home in a few weeks time.

As for the wedding, after long thoguht we have desided to have a small wedding with just a few close family members. It totally stinks that it takes something like my moms sickness to realize people true colors. I (for the most part) have realized that there are alot of people in my life that i no longer wish for them to be part of my life.

FH family is from upstate NY and we are thinking that we are going to have a garden wedding upstate. Plus this makes me happy cause I really wanted to have the wedding in June (june 5, 2009 will be 9 years that we first said I love you ) but the prices are just too crazy here which is why we were going February.

I will still be posting as i will need help with my dress, favors, invites, STDs (hee hee) and what nots.

I think small weddings are great. All you need are the people who love you and are there for you no matter what!

I am very excited about having the wedding outdoors and when i had wanted it.
We are going up to visit his family during july 4th and we are going to look into a few place while we are there.
