havent done much!

Well I honestly haven't done much but book the venue. However I seriously need to get it started...my questions is, when should I start looking for my dress?? And for the invitations..favors...bridesmaid dresses....did I mention my dress? Lol...I just want to go dress shopping!

You could start dress shopping now since you should really order but at least 8 months out. I think for bridesmaid dresses it could be like 5-6 months out.

I say its never to early! You can start looking at dresses now to see what style you like most! And as far as invitations, as long as all the time details of the ceremony/ reception don't change then you can look/order then now! Good luck

never too early! i bought my dress when i still had 2 years and 1 month to go! and to be honest, so many people said to me don't order a dress you will regret it, you will hate not looking at more dresses and honestly, it was a huge relief- i knew the one i wanted, and that was that! i haven't looked at a single dress since! :)

I do think in some cases it can be too early to go dress shopping - styles change, etc. But I think for a March 2014 wedding, starting now would not be starting too early. All the wedding websites said to get a dress between 8-10 months before the wedding, but when I ordered my dress in December they said it would take TEN months to GET IN! Before I even have fittings!! If I had listened to the website and waited, I wouldn't have been able to order my dress.

I don't want to start looking for 'the' dress too soon, but I'm going to start going just to see what looks good on me. If I happen to fall in love with something so be it. I'm DREADING BM shopping for some reason though. I'll probably start that this fall.

I'm dreading BM shopping too! I have such a mix of personalities that I'm afraid that no one will ever be happy ugh.

It's definitely not too early to shop for your wedding dress though! I already bought mine

my venue isn't locked down either but I can't move forward until I get my majors out of the way. RH, limo, DJ. then on to tier 2!
