haven't 'ordered' invitations yet....

am I really late? I plan on doing it end of January for my June 05, 2005 wedding.

I ordered about 2 weeks ago for my April wedding (4 months in advance). To be honest, I was REALLY pushing it as far as timing is concerned but it all depends on what type of invitations you want. The more custom the invitation, the longer it will take. Just an FYI from what I found - C'est Papier and Natural Impressions both take at least 20 business days (which translates into more than a month) without customization. I'd start looking around now to at least get an idea of what you want, I wish we had done it earlier

alot of girls on here are super prepared and do things 'early' on here (It's inspiring!) - I used to freek out that I didn't have my invites by 8 months before, and now I am realizing it is ok to order them in more of a standard time frame, like 2 months before sending them out.

I'm getting married the same weekend as you and I'm ordering mine in the next few weeks...I think your time frame will be fine. One of the main reasons I'm going now is that since I'm having the calligraphy done by them for the envelopes, I want to be on the safe side in case some have to be sent back for corrections. But from what I've heard, they come fairly quickly so I'm sure you'll be fine. :)
