having a baby in NYC + grad school??? Help!
We might be having a baby (I haven't had the guts to take a test yet ) .
My husband has been applying to grad school for next year. We'd really like him to still be able to quit his job and go, meaning loans and me working I think. I make less than him.
Is anyone here having a baby in NYC or have one in NYC. We're terrified of the costs (we've only been married 2 years and haven't had a chance to save a ton, but some...). We're wondering how you juggle rent/mortgage, baby costs, pre-school, etc.
We're planning to stay in Brooklyn, but wondering if it's possible....we won't move to LI, but maybe upstate (Orange County?) if we must...but we really like the city...
Anyone else in or been in my boat?
Any suggestions on chat sites/other informative sites I can go to?
