Having a brain fart- when do the leaves start changing?

Hey ladies-

Because of financial reasons, we are thinking about forwarding our wedding date to the fall of next year- I really wanted a fall wedding anyway, so it may work out!
Since I have been living in Florida the last couple of years, I have seem to have forgotten when the leaves first start changing colors- I love that time. But, I have forgotten- does that happen around mid october or late?

I say late october. If I remember correctly by halloween last year they were already falling off the trees like crazy

Usually the leaves start to change around the time we change the clocks. The reason they change is cuz of the difference in hours of sunlight... can you tell I'm a science teacher??

I hipe there are some leaves changed by my wedding!! I know there is a spot that is by a fresh water pond that usually changes before ther est of the town, just hope theya re sitll on the trees...would love to take pics there!

probably early october you first start to notice...
