I think I want just plain white terry cloth slippers, like the ones you get at a hotel or at a spa. I've gone to some hotel/spa supplier websites but you need to be a retailer to buy them. I did find one site, but you would have to buy two lots of 100 slippers @$150 a lot.......I don't need 200 slippers and I didn't want to spend $300!! Help!!!! TIA

yeah I kind of just figured that the woman are the ones that have the 'uncomfy' shoes most of the time so I would only need them for the ladies and I'm sure once the kids see people with them on, they will want them too.

I'm not opposed to it, but when I told my mom she said 'what about the people who wear nylons, wont flip flops be awkard?'
Did you find this to be an issue?
I didn't notice & honestly never thought of it! My wedding was in June & on/near the beach, so i guess I wasn't anticipating nylons on many poeple.

Ps - where do you put this slipper basket?
Also I am expecting 200 guests, figure half are woman...that gives me 100...and half the woman may take their shoes off....so 50! I don't think everyone will take their shoes off!!!!! Plus I don't want to spend too much $$$ on it. Also my wedding is in the summer so I am not worried about nylons.

I bought 72 pairs of black chinese slippers from InterTradeCorp and I am putting them in organza bags too!
JJC- How long did it take for them to deliver them to you? I still haven't received mine!
You better call. I received 5 of the 8 dozen I ordered. The other 3 dozen are black and they have been jerking me around for 3 weeks about when they'll be delivered. The owner is such a jerk and he is SOO rude. I can't believe I have to continue to do business with them.

I bought the mesh chinese slippers @ chinatown. Got to choose color (I wanted all green). Bought 72 pairs for $72... Great deal. On canal- red & white awning right outside the 6 train...

Why dont you buy the lot of 200 and slit it with another LIW bride? or sell them in smaller lots on ebay?
I was thinking of doing that, but didn't want to get stuck with hundreds of slippers if no one wanted them. Its a good idea though and I'm not ruling it out just yet!! thanks

i just checked that site and they dont really give enough information regarding what the sizer run is, etc?

Ok so I'm going to keep looking but if I can't find anything I will probably end up going with the slipperville slippers. I will post the extras for those who may be interested in buying them.
