Having a Horrible Birthday

Ugh. I'm having a horrible Birthday.

My DH and I can't be together. I haven't seen him in 11 days. I only see him on his days off, but he has a contagious eye infection and is staying away. So that last time I saw him was August 10th. I'm starting to wonder how much longer I can really tolerate living apart....

Then, he tried to send me flowers with 1-800-FLOWERS, and they never came!! The same thing happened on my wedding day! He sent me flowers and they never arrived. 1-800-FLOWERS S*CKS!

And on top of that, my poor doggie Tasha is sick today. She might have Cushing's Disease, and I'm waiting for some lab results.

I even canceled my B-day cake with my family because I just feel so miserable. I've been tearing up all day.

Sorry for complaining. Just needed to get it out of my system.

You were always there for me and I just wanted you to know that Im so sorry your not having the b day that you deserve. Some years are like that though. Last year, my b day totally ****ed!!

But maybe this is just one bad day and tomorrow will be better and you can celebrate then.

The house was supposed to be done by my birthday, which obviously didn't happen. Then we made it September 15th. But when I asked him today if I should take the week of the 15th off from work to move, he told me to wait a little while longer, because he's not sure the house will be ready by then. I'm just getting to my wits end with this fr*ggin' house situation.

I've been patient up to this point, but now its getting ridiculous!

oh sweeties try to cheer up. I say go for the cake . Take a long mask. Meet your FH at the dinner or something (wear his germs aren't). As long as you don't touch him you should be ok. Try to enjoy the rest of your b-day!

I am sorry it is not as good as you ecpected but just think it can only get BETTER!!!!

And I agree 1-800-flowers is bad. I used them to send a dozen balloons to my friend's daughter. Unbeknowst to me, they wre on vacation. they tied the ballons to the tree and left them there. Luckily a neighbor took them from the tree. But my friend said there wasn't enough string to even tie it to the chair. So when I complained they gave me a gift certificate.

And our dog might have cushing disease too. She was operated on last week and tomorrow she gets her stitches out! KMCWED we have so much in common besides photographers!

Guess I'm just wallowing in self pity today. I hate that!!! And I don't even have PMS!! LOL...

I think more than anything, it's the living stituation that's getting to me. When my DH told me the house might not be ready by the 15th, I just went into a funk, and the rest of the day's events just made everything worse.

Sorry to be a downer. I'll snap out of it by tomorrow morning. I always do.

Jennbaby...I haven't seen DH in so long because of his work schedule, and by the time he was getting into his days off, he came down with the eye infection. So what would have been our usual five days apart, stretched into 10.

Jamie! Thanks so much for offering to drive all the way out here!! You're the best. I wouldn't ask that of you, though. Besides, I'm already wallowing around in my PJs. LOL.

I rescheduled my cake until Saturday. By then things will be fine. Maybe even DH will be able to be with me.

Under all this wallowing, I'm happy to be alive and well and celebrating another year. It's just a bad day, I guess.
