Having a mini-nervous breakdown...

So, I've been having slight dress regret for the last mont or so...had a major pang of it today which I blamed on watching too many Say Yes to the Dress episodes...

Until tonight.

One of my good friends is a BM tonight and took a picture of her with the bride. The bride is wearing the same dress as me except hers is white when mine is champagne.

I'm not sure WHAT triggered my breakdown but now I don't know what to do. My dress has a no returns, exchanges, refunds policy and I just have a lump in my throat thinking about it.

Anyone go through this?

Wahhhhhh!!!!

What don't you love about it, the color? Why don't you go try it on again? I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I'm sure if you have it on again you'll feel the way you did about it when you said it was the one!

I agree, I'm sure if you put your dress back on, you'll be just as in love as you were the first time

Re: Having a mini-nervous breakdown...

I went through this a few weeks ago actually, and there's no way out of my dress either ( well, you would lose the 60% deposit you put down). I found a specific dress that I fell in LOVE with and got so sad that I wouldn't be able to wear it... then I realized how many brides I have seen in similar style dresses, and how I haven't seen ONE in a dress remotely like mine, and remembered how I felt when I had it on... and then, most importantly, I STOPPED looking at other dresses!!! lol There's a reason you fell in love with that dress and chose it! Don't make yourself crazy

Having a mini-nervous breakdown...

i completely understand how you feel! I am in the middle of trying to choose ivory or white.... I still think I am going to go with ivory! I loved it when I put it on - and I'm worried if I order it in white... I won't love it the same way!

Trying on my dress again really helped so I would go that route. And I highly recommend NOT looking at other dresses!!

Re: Having a mini-nervous breakdown...

I tried my dress on in champagne and fell in love with it, my mom told me to order ivory and my FH told me he wanted me to stay traditional and to order white or ivory, so I went with ivory because in the end I'm trying to look good for him! But in the the end I still wish I got it in champagne and I'm envious of you! So rock it girl, you're going to look gorgeous!

Having a mini-nervous breakdown...

SYTTD is terrible! It gets me every time haha. I just went back for my third fitting at kleinfeld's and even passing other brides made me wonder about my dress. I guess there's always going to be other dresses I love but I do love mine and like everyone else said, you picked it for a reason.
