having a mini-panic attack.....

I'm sitting here thinking about my dress....I ordered it in Ivory...

Now, I'm worried that if I don't match the guys tux shirts and the flower girl dresses to that EXACT color it might make my dress look dirty in pictures!! And now I'm freaking out!!!!

I tried to call my mom like a hundred times to reassure me or tell me to call and change it to white (i don't even know if i can do that!!!) but SHE'S NOT ANSWERING HER PHONE!!

Please help before my brain explodes!!!

Get a color swatch of your dress and use that as your guide. Most dress manufacturers will send you a swatch sample this way you can bring it with you everywhere you go... flowers, dresses, tuxes!!

I'm doing ivory as well and this is what my bridal place told me, so Im counting on them!!

i dont know when i went shopping and saw ivory dresses they didn't look yellow at all, infact i thought they were white, but when they said NO this is white i was like OK WOW that is bright. Also never saw pics of a bride wearing an ivory dress and thinking it was yellow

maybe the samples at the stores just get real dirty lol, i don't know but i wouldn't worry

i think you are right, sometimes the samples get dirty.

i'm sure the ivory will be fine! my dress is also ivory, and when i saw the same one in white, i didnt like it.

I would call the salon that you got your dress from first and ask them (but ask for a clean sample, not one that everyone has touched or it will look dirty). if they can't help you, Call the dress designer. The swatch makes a huge difference, it really helps you visualize!!

I hope this made you feel better!!! :)

it most definetly did....i probably wouldn't have posted if my mom answered her phone once in a blue, lol.....sometimes I just need someone to tell me to shut up and that everything will be fine.

thanks again girls........I'm dialing Burtons right now to find out about a swatch!!
