HAVING A SLIGHT FREAK OUT! HELP ME!

I found someone to do hand calligraphy for us for $200 to write the names and addresses in a fancy font on the front, the return address in a nice all caps font on the back, and the address on the rsvp envelope in the same caps font! Can you believe it??? That's an awesome price, right?

But I was just thinking about it and we are going to need to have all the envelopes to start stuffing them by may 1st-ish.

Well we're in the middle of buying a house that's SUPPOSED to close on April 15th. WHAT IF WE AREN'T MOVED INTO THE HOUSE AND CAN ACCEPT THE MAIL THERE YET??? WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS WITH THE HOUSE AND WE CAN'T MOVE IN AT ALL??????

can you have them sent to your parents house, or to someone in the bridal party?

that's prob what i would do.

hopefully that wont happen, but if it does, cant the post office hold them?

Can you have them sent to another address, like maybe your parents?

my mom lives in an apartment in the city during the week and goes home to nj on the weekends so she's not always there to get them. my dad and stepmom live in md and they have one of those tiny little mailboxes townhouses have and probably wouldn't be on top of updating me on them. ffil definitely wouldnt be on top of updating me

I am just trying to look out for you - my sister is in the same position (closing wise) and it has been pushed back a few times.....it was supposed to be in January, and we are already in March. Just to be on the safe side, I would totally recommend sending them to a parents address just to make sure!

ETA: Maybe can you get a post office box???

get a p.o. box so you don't stress ... if you don't want the addy to read 'P.O. Box 123', you can get a box at a place like a UPS store and list the address as 'Suite 123' ...
