who here is having some sort of after party or get together after the wedding. especially those early wedding people. even if its just having people hang in your suite or bar or something.
just curious. someone is giving us a hard time about it...

I was trying to find a hotel with a bar, but none of the close ones had one, so we'll probably just party in someone's room after the wedding. The wedding won't end until midnight, but I know a lot of poeple will want to keep on partying.

The catering hall we are considering mentioned that the hotel next door will keep their bar and lounge open late for the B&G if they reserve their suite there. I have a lot of OOT guests, so I think it would be a good idea.

That was my requirement as well and why we decided to book Wyndham Wind Watch. Our reception is over at 9:00 pm and those who are local and want to go home can do so, those who are OOT and/or want to continue the party will met up at the hotel. We will totally play it by ear...

we are!!! at the bar in the hotel. our reception ends at 6pm and both families are party people. we definitely needed to have a place to go to afterwards.

Our plan is to have the people who are staying in the hotel with us drop by for some drinks, since I'm not going to drink while I'm on videotape - and I know I'm going to want to have a few cocktails uncensored. But it will be VERY informal - in our room, around midnight, no obligation and not too long.

The 2 halls I am considering both said I could pay the bartender to stay an extra hour and that i could run a tab or even give him a set amount of $ and ebfore I reach it he will let me know. I figure 20 or 30 of us will stay and hang out for an hour or so.

our hall will do overtime or we are planning on continuing the celebration at the Wyndham where all of my OOT guests will be staying....
