cause I asked my parents a long time ago if they wanted to go to a bridal showcase....

they are coming and now FH is mad at me cause they are coming and he started a whole argument over it....

Yeah he's acting like a big jerk. He says that we should be able to do these on our own. He's mad cause when we went to the food tasting my dad kept asking the guy about the heat cause he's al little annoying sometimes. But my dad and step mom have done so much for us and his family gives us nothing and I invited them because it was polite and he is just really pissing me off and now I'm really upset..

why wouldn't he want your parents to see the reception. the next time we go to a showcase at our RH we are inviting the parents

I probably wont have that problem. My FIL's live in CT so I dont know if they would be able to come to showcases which is sort of sad because I would love them to be involved more. My mom might come with me since most showcases are during the week.

But FH shouldn't be so upset they are your parents you have every right to invite them.

Now that you say the showcase is at ur hall it makes no sense for them not to be able to go....

I have a weird feeling that he's upset about more than this showcase and like it is 'representing' something in his mind. . .

When he calms down and when you calm down you guys need to talk!

B/c on the face why would he be upset -- even if ur parents are a bit annoying it kinda goes with the territory!!! You don't suddenly not invite them to the RH showcase . .

When my RH had a showcase, I brought my parents, my brother and his gf! I think what you did was 100% ok

we invited my parents and his mom I think who ever you want should be involved. Its just a showcase it shouldnt be a big deal.
