Having an E-Party

Well, let me first start out by saying that I really did not think I was going to get an e-party. FH and I have huge families, so it would be hard. I was a little upset about it, but i really didnt let it show (i made a few comments in passing to my parents, kinda more like little jabs at them!!)

Anyway, last night FILs were over and my dad brought up having a very small party with just the aunts and uncles and 1st cousins (that alone is 100 people) So basically my father was over-ruled and I AM HAVING AN E-PARTY (Thanks to him b/c he offered to take care of it)

We are not going to do anything crazy, just a simple dinner, no dancing… NOW I HAVE TO FIND A DRESS!!!

YAY engagement parties are so fun - thats awesome!!!! Macys and JC Penney has some really cute dresses out right now what about NY and Company? Marshalls, TJ Max (just a few options )

i had mine sunday! it was so fun, it was small we kept it to just very immediate family (about 40 ppl or so)
i didnt even know we were having one, me and my FH went to Vegas in mid aug and when we got back my parents were like we r throwing u an e party i was like WOOHOO!

I am already running a list through my head of where I am going to look, and I already started busting FHs chops that even though it is not going to be really fancy I still want me and him to be the fanciest!

YEAH!! We were in the same boat with the huge family...well his family is HUGE...so we had 100 at our eparty too.... but it was so worth it...ENJOY IT!!!!

I am in the same situation. I want a party but I dont want to go overboard plus the huge family and the fact that we are taking care of it ourselves. And you know with a big family you cant have a small party! You will never hear the end of it if you invite only some of the cousins because it was your choice to have 27 of them!! LOL. THis is why we are waiting until the spring to do it, that way we can save more money

Yay Congratulations!!!! they are sooo much fun, its almost a way for you guys to have a taste of what your big day will be like only like 1/4 of what it will be like though! Have fun !!!
