Re: having kids???at there own table?
Well, I am, kinda.... I mean the 'Kids' are all 16-21.... they are all cousins, they have their own table.... there parents are right ahead of them. How old are the kids you want to put w/o their parents? I would say anyone under 8 should be w/ their parent/s

Re: having kids???at there own table?
I am having all my nieces and nephews at the 'kids' table. They range in ages from 7-18. There will be two tables so I will try to break up the tables so the older ones can help with the young ones. And their table will be in the back so they can be kids and not bother the adults.

We're having two kids tables (lots of kids!). One with young kids, 6 and under, in the Bridal Suite. They can come out after dinner, but so that the parents can relax and eat a good meal! Then there is a table with kids 10 and up in the reception hall.

I'm thinking of putting together a 'kids' table of my teenage cousins.
I've been tow eddings where there have been separate kids tables and it's worked out nicely.
If all of the kids get along nicely and are reasonably behaved, I'd say do it!

Re: having kids???at there own table?
I did this exact thing
I had 10 kids, ranging in age from 3-16. I put them at table 3. I had their parents at table 1 and table 5.
the older kids provided very light babysitting (ie don't put you hands in the water bowl baby) and the parents were able to keep an eye without having their kids in their laps. It seems to have worked out very well, and the kids really had a ball too.
