Just something we came across- Bargain with your place! We got a special menu for our under 13 guests (chicken fingers, ff, hamburgers) and are only paying something like $30 for each of them!

We did the same thing! And make sure you put it in your contract before you sign it.
Originally our hall would have only taken $10 off the per person price - they are 4-6 years old and being served chicken fingers, I don't think so.

My contract was for 1/2 price for anyone under 12 who was eating a kids meal, but I still had to meet my minimum for full price in order to get the kids meals for 1/2. You normally cannot count children eating kids meals toward your minimum guest count.

We nixed kids entirely because even at $30 a head (roughly the same that my hall quoted me for the kids bar) there are far too many of them and it would have been bucks deluxe that we don't have...
