i am finally going bridesmaid dress shopping and am soooooooo confused as to shich color to go with. i think i know the dress. it sort of mimicks mine in the sense that it is a strapless a-line. (mine of course, is a fuller bottom and has a lot more to it). BUT ANYWAY, i like this color...it's called SKY for those of you who know the jum hjelm line. the probelm is, i only have a swatch! the store doesn't have that dress in any other color. i am afraid to comit to a dress and not see the whole dress in that color. anyone else have that prob?

Can you call different stores to see if they carry the sample in that color?
The store I bought my dress at, ordered me a BM dress just to I could see what it looked like. Maybe they would do the same for you? FM me if you want info.

Be careful with swatches. They are the exact color. My store gave me a swatch of the dress and I saw the dress in that color..and it looked nothing like it.

I know where you are coming form. I wanted purple. It's my favorite color. When we went BM dress shopping we found a dress we liked that came in 2 shades of purple, but couldn't see it. Only saw swatches, and saw the dress in B&W. It looked so great on all my BM's we were afraid to order it in the purples, so I gave in and said they could wear the B&W. I love it now. I've since seen pics of the purple shades and I don't like it. Things happen for a reson, sometimes. Don't be afraid to be a little flexible. Good luck!
