I'm having FH's Mom and Dad over for Easter and cooking the whole meal! I'm sure it will be fine because I’m pretty close with my FMIL. I'm a little nervous about the food,, I hope they like everything I make! I come from a big Italian family, and his parents are Thai and Puerto Rican so we make very different meals for Holidays. I'm trying to merge both families foods into my menu! ack i hope it goes ok! It's also my first holiday away from my family. I know it sounds weird but i almost feel like I'm cheating on my family by not being with them haha. I'm sure i'll get used to it after a few years though!

we held Christmas Eve at our apartment i was freaking out up until they started showing - EARLY!! especially since hes got the big italian family that likes their fish dinner and i come from a big irish family that cant stand fish lol
in the end everything was great!!! the start of a fun new tradition i think.
i ended up making sooo much food tho!!!!! we had so much food leftover lol i think we were the only people who didnt have to treck out in the snow during the blizzard but i was about to scream if i had to eat anything else italian lol
but have fun and dont stress it

i'm sure it will be great!! We are Italian and FH is Puerto Rican and we are all full at the end of the day haha don't worry it iwill be fun!!
