HAVING THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE..

I can't get into full detail..but will say that I may be out of a job soon because someone apparently got into my computer system and looked up personal information on my supervisor. I had actually come forward with telling our compliance department about this and now I find this out and I am both upset and furious. I had to go to a meeting and could not believe it when they told me that my name shows up as having gone in his file and that is a violation of HIPPA although I DID NOT do it...and I may get fired over this.all because of a nurse who doesn't know how to mind her business and went into his file to satisfy her gossip habit!!

I didn't need this before my wedding.

Oh my God... I will say a prayer for you. I really hope the truth comes out and you are secure with your job. You're right... you DON'T need this right now. Is there anyone that will back you up?

That's the thing I normally do. I've worked here for 10 years..and there were a few times I left it unlocked...so I can only imagine it was done then..or when I was covering other people in reception..I don't know..but I am REALLY angry about this. This nurse has violated so many peoples personal rights it's unbelievable..and I came forward because I got tired of seeing/hearing her do it. Now why on earth would i come forward if I knew my name would come up??? and more importantly if I had gone into his file??? It's incredible!!! I work with a bunch of immature b**ches who have nothing better to do than gossip all f***in day long

I'm hoping my boss will because I went to him before I let the compliance office know about this since it was about him. I told him all I ask is that if I am going to be fired they do it before I go away or before I come back because I don't need this right now, and it's not right .
