I have been having trouble sleeping for the past few months. I know it's stress related (not only wedding), and that I have to learn to relax but as I'm sure we all know it's easier said than done. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for me to help me sleep. Thanks ladies!

I feel your pain, I'm the same way. I've heard that lavender scent is good for sleep, they have baby bath oils for that reason.
When I have trouble sleeping, either insomnia or a headache, I close my eyes and in the blackness try to look BEYOND the darkness...if that makes any sense? This is better for headaches cuz you take the focus off of the pain, but also works for sleep. Good luck!

I have always suffered from Insomnia, but old school trick warm milk or I like Sleepy Time tea from celestial seasonings.

Ok I'm gonna try the warm milk now, this might sound umb but do I just heat it up in the microwave? Do I add anything?

Re: Having trouble sleeping
Do not add anything, heat about 45 sec, not too hot! chocolate or anything sweet will keep you up due to the caffeine and or sugar.
I hope this helps!

Re: Having trouble sleeping
FH has barely slept in months. He has always been a light sleeper but its gotten to the point were we are sending him to the doctor. But its probably stress related. Still if it persists then maybe you should see a doctor.

Re: Having trouble sleeping
Still up? I use tilenol PM. I take two. I try not to do it often, but I dont really know anyone who isnt knocked out within twenty minutes. it might help to at least reset ur sleep schedule so you go to bed earlier. HTH

Re: Having trouble sleeping
I was going through a very stressful time where I couldnt sleep either. I found this stuff called LunaSom PM which is a supplement of melatonin, valerian, and chamomile. (Not to be confused with Unisom) I like it because I can take it at anytime and not get that 'trouble waking up like i have a sleeping pill hangover the next day' feeling. I found it at Harmons but have not been able to find it anywhere else.
