i was just wondering if a lot of you ladies got TVs/ are getting TVs from your DJ or its a waste of money (about $700 extra to be exact) i know its a matter of preference and the budget but i wanted to know if you think they are worth it

I like the T/V's only because I love the idea of showing a photo montage during the father daughter / mother son dance.
What's also good about it is that you will end up with more photos. I remember when I was DJ shopping, I was told that.

We didn't have to spend the extra $$ on TV's but we had three LCD TV's in the reception room itself that the DJ/Photographer used during the reception.
It was really nice and simple and people loved it!

My place has TVs, and then in our DJ package we also get a TV, so we will have tons of TVs. I just mainly wanted a TV just for the photo montage.

we actually have 4 screens! b/c our room is very long. i love the idea of the montages during dinner and thru out the night.

we had them...I liked it only because we wanted to do something unique...we didn't do any montages, but the DJ took candid shots of people throughout the night and put them up. People liked to see themselves, it was kinda cool.

Mine came with the package...it's going to display pictures that were taken during the day. No montage for me.

i want them but not so much for the tv aspect but for the extra pictures lol my friend used them and she got an extra 2 cds filled with pictures!

We are using them for the day of the wedding...with the plasmas we got an extra photographer- and she is going to come to the church earlier to take pics of us there this way people who couldnt make it to the chutch will be able to see it on the screens at the wedding. We also had this for our e-party and it was great having a photographer there- we didnt have to worry about taking pics once and we have beautiful ones from her!---It was very well worth the money!!!

ours does that too! =) he is taking pics at the ceremony as well to display

We had them and loved them. We showed clips from our church and that morning before we walked into the reception, then pics flashed all night.... during our dances they showed pics of us.... I liked it but again its all your taste.

I'd like to have a TV if I can afford it. We prefer a projector, the screen is a lot bigger.

I like it. we're having plasmas and i love the photog that comes with my Dj. she's great and has worked a lot of our parties and has taken excellent pics. they play them at the party and give us the CD at the end. I think we're doing montage, if i ever get the pics together.
