Having two matrons of honor...question

After much drama and issues, I have asked one of my BM's to be a co-matron of honor.

For anyone else doing this, I wondered if you had any ideas on how to distinguish the two of them from the rest of the bridal party (besides a different bouquet)? Also, I really dont want them to wear anything special in their hair.

The other thing I was wondering was, when you are being introduced into the reception, usually they say, two very special people to the bride and groom...the maid of honor and best man...xxx and yyy. Any ideas on how to have the two MOH's announced?

Any ideas anybody has on this is greatly appreciated!!

I was a co-maid of honor. They didn't do much to distinguish us from everyone else. At teh reception they just announced us each individually, one after the other, as the maid of honor.

my sister and brother in law had 2 best men. i think they said something like 'the best men, brothers of the groom, greg and joe, and 1 very lucky lady, sister of the bride, christine'. something along those lines. just reverse it.

I am having two also, both of my sisters, One will be introduced and the moh and the other as the matron of honor b/c she is married...there isn't much that will distinguish them from the others...in the programs they will be listed and when they are announced in to the reception...I really don't know what else i can do either

Both of my sisters had the two of us as the MOH. We wore the same dresses as the bridal party, but I have heard some wear a lighter or darker shade of the same dress. Walking into the hall wasn't a big deal. I can't remember what the band said, but I am sure your DJ or band is familiar with what to say. just ask. In the church I held my sister's flowers while my other sister fixed her dress every time she got up.

I'm doing the exact same thing at Licia - except mine aren't my sisters, just 2 really great friends...

If one is married and the other is not you can have a maid of honor (single girl) and a Matron of Honor (marired girl) thats what i did...

My Maid of Honor is my sister. My Matron of Honor is my best friend. I have 6 other girls in my BP. ALL are wearing the same outfit, but the MOHs will have a different bouquet. Some other stuff I am doing is putting a pretty butterfly pin in my sister's flowers (my grandmother used to love them and they have a lot of meaning to us), and will get a my BF a special pin for her's. You can also get them a pretty purse for them, or special jewerly.
