That's why the saying is usually started with 'he/she wants to have their cake and eat it too'. Bc it IS a good thing and they can't have both, they have to choose one or the other.

I say, eat the cake bc if you don't then it'll just go stale or someone else will eat it.

Chocolate cake, now I need chocolate cake. A cupcake would do.

I had a caramel macchiato for lunch. A+ all around. They forgot to charge me for the soy too (or the guy was possibly hitting on me cause he was being weird - uncertain) so that is $0.40 in the bank.
