Planning a 12-14 day trip to Hawaii for the honeymoon and was wondering what islands are a must (we're first-timers) and how long we should stay at each. We definitely like to see as much as we can, but also want to relax as well. Any insight would be appreciated!!!!!

Re: HAWAII
Hi! Hawaii is BBEEEEUUUTIFUL!!!!! It really depends what you want to do. We went to Maui and Kuaui with a day trip to Ohau to see Pearl Harbor and the sights. We were happy with our itinerery.
Kuaui is very beautiful and quite. Maui is a bit more lively. Oahu is a city (much like NY) and I hear the Big Island is the same (though I haven't been)
You must decide if you want a city hopping atmosphere or something more peaceful.
ANy way you go, Hawaii is breathtaking and you will have a wonderful time

Check out the Hawaii revealed travel books, or wizardpub.com. They have all kinds of info about Hawaii. Good tips too.

Re: HAWAII
We are going to Hawaii too My FI's friend and his wife went for thier HM in June and they used the Maui revealed book. They said it was an awesome guide.
We are going to Kauai and Maui. We were going to go to Waikiki so we could see Pearl Harbor but it seemed like it would be too much hopping so we just tagged on an extra night in Maui.
Betty - Can you elaborate on your day trip to Oahu? We would be interested in doing that too if it were pheasible.
Did you fly?

See my topic above; If you go to Travel Solutions by Marcia (they are a vendor on this site) she will really help you find the best places to go and the places to skip. She also really works with whatever budget you have; don't think you have to break your bank book to go. Good luck!
