FH and I just found out we get his mothers timeshare for our honeymoon. We are pretty set on trying to use it in hawaii! We were thinking of using it in Maui and then extending our time there for 4 nights in Oahu. Anyone have any advice of where to go, what to do, and what to see?

For Maui, I would HIGHLY recommend taking the Trilogy trip out to the island of Lana'i. It was probably the most fun we had while in Maui! It's a bit pricey, but really worth it and if you're going during whale season (Dec. - March, but can be as early as November and as late as April), then it's a big plus because you'll see whales in addition to the spinner dolphins!

Also, do a Luau while on Maui - if you do the very popular 'Old Lahaina Luau' (said to be the best one) just know that it DOES NOT have a fire dancer. Personally, I would do a different one that has the fire dancer. I personally would do the Feast at Lele because it is individual table seating for you and your honey and the sooner you make your reservations, the better your seats! They're fully refundable too if you decide not to go or want to change a date or whatever.

Also, Warren & Annabel's. It's like a comedy magic show, but was voted the best show on Maui before. It's supposed to be hilarious!


Hmmm, for Oahu, you already know about Pearl Harbor. Also go to the surrounding things like the Mighty Mo (USS Missouri) and the submarine etc.

Also go to Waikiki Beach, the North Shore... That's all I can think of for now. You'll have a GREAT TIME!!!!

i loved maui...didn't go for my honeymoon, but went two years ago with my family. loved it so much, wanted to go back for my honeymoon next year. things we did:

snorkeling at molokini
scuba diving
drove road to hana
laua
parasailing
aquarium and submarine trip
and of course working on your tan at the beaches


there's a lot of stuff to do there...such as golfing, whale watching, sunset cruises, helicopter rides, horseback riding. i'm sure i'm missing stuff. you'll find plenty of stuff to do. hope that helped.
