hawaii???

Can anyone tell me, what island we would want to spend the most time at and what island the least time at? Thanks so much!!!

Most time - Maui. the more research I do on Hawaii themore I love maui and think I may only visit that island. There is just so much to do there.
I really wouldn't want to do Oahu, seems too commercilized!
If I go to anohter island it will probably be Kauii. But will spend the bulk of my trip on Maui!!

We are doing the least on Oahu and about the same amount on Kauai(two days less or so) and Maui. The research though we've done it turns out there seems to be more that we want to do on Kauai so we wish we had switched around. We also now wish, looking at things to do, that we had booked the Big Island. They have lots of fun things. If we were booking now after doing full out research(which FH was supposed to do while i was doing the wedding planning! but he didnt do til later so i had to do the minimal research i could when we had to book it) we would do the Big Island, two days in Oahu(which we are doing just for pearl harbor), a lot of kauai and a few days in Maui. I would definitely suggest getting 'Kauai Revealed: the ultimate guide' and 'maui' actually the author wrote for all the islands. Read that if you have the time fiirst and see what you wantt o do and then figure out which islands to do. It really depends what you're into doing!

Only 19 days til i'm there though!!!!!!!!!

I got recommendations to spend about half the time in Maui, half in Kauai, skip Oahu on HM.

We are getting married the same day!!

We spent a week on Kauai, 4 days on Maui and 3 days on Oahu.

I wish we would've spent more time in Maui and less in Oahu (and maybe one or two days less in Kauai to allow for more time in Maui).

We just got back from Oahu and between Honolulu and Waikiki, it was like being in the states. We did some fun stuff like snorkling, booze cruises, Pearl Harbor, Dole Pineapple Plantation, PCC and North Shore. My biggest complaint was that the H2 (the highway) was closed down so the only way to get around was on the H1 and it took 90 minutes to drive from North Shore to Honolulu.

We really want to go to Maui for our honeymoon!!

Hawaii

We did 4 days in Oahu and 7 days in Maui. The 7 days in Maui was perfect but I wish I had one day in Oahu.

where did you get the book or booklet we will probably be going to hawaii and I would like to get my hands on what you were talking about.
The big island I hear is very neat especially with the volcano stuff that they have there.

Thanks - it seems everyone is skipping Oahu and i definately want to do it - along with Maui - cause theres fun vacation-y things.
