Hawaii

FH and I really want to go to Hawaii for our HM, but it's so damn expensive. Does anyone know of any good deals or a cheap way to go?

hmm well its pretty far so i imagine it would be a little pricey...have you checked with a travel agent?

They have cruises that visit a few Islands. The pricing is not that bad.

FH and I went in Sept. If you rent a condo (basically an apt that someone owns-they just call them condos) you can pay about $150 per night for a place all to yourself.

It's right on the beach. We went to the grocery store down the street and bought a box of pancake mix and some frozen food. We ate breakfast and lunch in the apartment and only ate out for dinner, which helped to save as well.

We might go through a time share that we bought a trial from with Hilton. It gives you 7 nights at one of their 3 hotels. We got it while we were in Orlando (staying at Hilton)

The other thing I have heard people do are use credit card miles to pay for the airfare.

As far as excursions while you are there - you can work with a travel agent to have people give them to you as a wedding gift.
