I'm leaving for my honeymoon this weekend and haven't planned anything for it as far as excursions. Does anyone have any recommendations for Maui or Honolulu? So far I know we are doing the Road to Hana and Sunrise crater in Maui and possibly Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head in Honolulu.
Thanks!!

Definitely go to a Luau on Maui - we went to Drums of the Pacific. We also went parasailing right off the beach in the front of the Hyatt in Maui and it was so much fun!!! Have a safe trip/ amazing time on your honeymoon!!!

Re: Hawaii
In Maui we did Haleakala Bike Co. (Sunrise tour). We also did a Luau that we booked about 3 months in advance and as a result we had front row seats. We did the Road to Hana.
In Honolulu I definitely recommend renting a car for one day. We picked it up at 9am and returned it at 9pm so we did not have to pay $35+ for overnight parking. We got the car from Budget at the Hyatt. We started out at Diamond Head, stopped at Dole Pineapple Plantation, and then headed further west to the other side of the Island. Don't forget to stop at some shrimp trucks.

Thanks!! I forgot to book a luau a long time ago, lol. Which one did you do? We rented a car in Honolulu. What is there to do on the other side of the island, I wasn't sure if I should go over there.
Thanks!

Re: Hawaii
The other side of the island was much more relaxed.
Look at this beach: http://www.portaloha.com/SecretsOfHawaii/Laniakea.htm
Just different views and scenic points to stop at.
We did the Old Lahaina Luau in Maui.

Ive been to Oahu 3 times & def recommend Pearl Harbor. Also did a submarine ride and a dinner cruise. There is also plenty of shopping to do if you like to shop. You can also go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, check out the plantations, atving, try surfing etc. Be sure to try the pineapple its amazing! Have a wonderful time! Its my favorite place in the world (so far)

Frommer's Suggestion: 1 week in Maui http://www.frommers.com/destinations/maui/0015020794.html
In Oahu definitely swim with the wild dolphins. I forget the company that I went with but it's such a cool experience! I'm sure your hotel concierge will be able to tell you the best company to do this with.
