walking around window shopping in Lahaina
sunset at Halekala (we prefer it to sunrise)

whale watching (depending on time of year)

I'm staying in Oahu...any recommendations to eat there? Or what to see??

For Oahu girls - its like a big city, they have lots of chains like Senor Frogs, Cheesecake Factory, etc. We went to Yard House which is a mid-western chain that has something like 80 beers on tap.

For Maui - Mala, its in Lahaina, very good.
Cool kat Cafe - cheap and soooo good! Great atmosphere, right in the town on Lahaina.


As far as activities, we did snorkeling with Blue Water Rafting, excellent!!!! And we did a hike with Hike Maui. Skip Old Lahaina Luau, it was boring, go to another luau.

Oahu has lots of chain restaurants: Cheesecake, Tony Roma's etc. Our 2 favorite places to eat were right in our hotel (the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach) - Dukes Bar & Grill and Chucks Steakhouse. We also ate at Margaritaville and liked it a lot.

We wanted to go to Roys (there's one on just about every island) but they were closed for a private party.
