5 night Kauai at Hyatt----partial ocean view 5 night Maui at Hyatt-----golf/mountain view Breakfast included every day interisland flights car rental in both islands airfare hotel taxes
$6764
Does that sound good?
And... she suggested us leaving Maui early in the morning on the last day & going to Honolulu & pearl harbor for the day since the flight doesn't leave until 11 pm instead of staying in Maui an extra day. ---Ladies who have gone to Honolulu.. is it worth it or should we just enjoy Maui another 1/2-3/4 of a day.
Thanks! Dana

Re: Hawaii help----
I can't help with the price quote - not sure - but I would suggest that you take her up on the idea of going to Oahu early on your last day to do Pearl Harbor and see Waikiki Beach.
When we went, we went to Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Big Island, and Lanai - but in a short period of time and we still felt that we got a lot out of our time on each island. We had only 1 1/2 days in Oahu and the first day we went to Pearl Harbor, Mighty Mo (USS Missouri), Waikiki Beach, etc. The second day it rained and we had an early afternoon flight. If you don't mind doing activities on your last day, I think it IS worth it to do Oahu.
Good luck, sounds like a great honeymoon!

Re: Hawaii help----
I would definitely enjoy Maui on the last day, especially if you are flying back to the mainland from there. If you are flying back from Kahului, there are some great resorts not too far from the airport that you can check out for the day, and even go to for a spa treatment. Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort is a nice place to stop at, as is the Wailea Grand, both of which are @15 miles from the airport and close to the shopping center where Britney Spears was last February, sporting her 'bump'.
FM me if you need more info.

Re: Hawaii help----
For the Hyatts, that sounds like a good quote.
Maybe try pricing it on your own to see how it compares? The best rate for car rentals I found was through Alamo.
If you are flying out of Oahu, I'd definitely check out Pearl Harbor! That's what we're doing, we've got an 11pm flight as well on our last day so we are going to Pearl Harbor that day.

Re: Hawaii help----
That sounds REALLY good. Keep in mind breakfast buffet at both Hyatt's is like $28 per person. Having it included really saved us tons of cash. When you get to the rental car companies tell them its your honeymoon. We got upgraded on both islands.
Have a ball!

Re: Hawaii help----
Stay in Maui (Unless you have a strong desire to see Pearl Harbor)!!! The quote sounds reasonable!

Re: Hawaii help----
That sounds about right. If you are going to Oahu I would go on the first day rather than the last. This way you can sight see in Oahu and then just relax in Maui and Kauai. I'm glad we did it that way. We only went to Oahu and Maui though. I didn't want to travel too much because it takes up most of the day.
